Karolina Couture Lingerie shows off its alluring, feminine lingerie through the movements of a beautiful ballerina. This film noir inspired short tells the story of love lost,what might have been and longing for a big love that once was. 

 

British born photographer Andy Faraday, brings his latest New York show ‘Paramour’ to Perth. Inspired by youth, adventures and emotion, Faraday celebrates the natural raw beauty and the striking energy, of the female form, through the use of 35mm film, and 3D stereoscopic photography. 

This exhibition showcases an installation of nostalgic 3D viewmasters, alongside new photographs, featuring one-off pieces from Perth based designer, Karolina Couture Lingerie. 

Karolina Couture Lingerie has established herself as one of the most bespoke designers in Perth. Handmade and inspired by the classical styles of Paris and Tuscany, Karolina Couture Lingerie has created a uniquely Western Australian design, with a French sensibility. This is beautifully captured in Faraday’s intimate artwork. 

This spectacular collaboration of analogue photography and bespoke design, invites us to experience a one on one, personal engagement, between image and viewer. As we gaze into this intimate world, we step out of reality into this beautiful odyssey.

Karolina Couture Lingerie is designing a lingerie inspired outfit for the "Fairly Fashionable?" fashion parade on Friday 9th May @ Many 6160 (former Myer building, Kings Square, Fremantle). Doors open at 6:30pm, the show starts at 7pm.

Australian designers are creating fashion garments and accessories using fair trade textiles to mark the 1 year anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh. There will be music, tastings, door prizes and more.
